Prompting your agent

Good requests name the site, the data and the fields:

Collect every product on https://example.com/shop: name, price, SKU, and whether it is in stock. Test with 8 pages first.

Helpful habits:

• Say “test small first”. Request a page limit explicitly; agent behavior depends on its instructions.
• Name the workspace to use, or let it create one.
• Ask it to compare three records with the site before the full run.
• Ask for the workflow name and id; open it at /workflows/<id>.

Refine a saved workflow

Open workflow , inspect its current version and node outputs, and change only the extraction instructions to include a nullable email field. Validate the updated workflow, test a small run, and show me missing values.

Ask the agent to read the current workflow before editing. A full save requires the loaded version; an outdated version is rejected. You can inspect the same graph in the visual editor once the agent releases its editing lock.
